What personal information we gather and the purpose of gathering it.

In the Snapbad site, when visitors leave comments, we gather the following information displayed in the comments form, and the IP address and browser user agent string of the visitor to aid in spam detection and elimination.

When you post photos or files on Snapbad, then you are not supposed to post anything that has embedded location information (EXIF GPS). Such data uploaded in the form of files may be downloaded and extracted by other users or visitors.

When commenting on our site, you will have an option to store your name, email address and web site in cookies. These cookies are to save you the hassle of filling in the information again when making another comment. These cookies may last for up to one year.

When you access our login page a temporary cookie can be placed to check whether your browser accepts cookies or not. This cookie has no personal data and it is deleted as you close your browser.

When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely to assist in recognizing and auto approving follow-up comments.

To users who create an account with us on Snapbad, we keep the personal data that is given in their user profiles. Users are also able to view, edit, or delete their personal data at any moment (except usernames, which are limited). This information can also be accessed and controlled by administrators.

Subject to the conditions stated in the privacy policy, you are entitled to receive a copy of the personal data of you that we have. You can also ask us to delete your personal data, but we have to ensure compliance with the legal or administrative requirements which may make us keep some of the information.

To ensure integrity in the platforms and also to avoid abuse, visitor comments and user interaction can be verified using automated spam detect services or security systems.
